STAndards-Based Measure of Proficiency (STAMP) Test
This Spring more than 2000 students working in 8 different languages will be taking AVANT Assessment's proficiency tests in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, also known as STAMP.
The results of this test will help students better understand their progress through the first two years of language study and beyond, and help instructors better align their teaching to proficiency standards. Testing begins April 9 and continues throughout the quarter.
Students, each week we'll post the week's schedule below for your class. If you're interested, you can take a brief practice test so you'll know what each section of the STAMP looks like. All testing takes place in McKenzie Hall computer labs and classrooms.
The Yamada Language Center will be administering the tests. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions, or requests for special accommodation.
Testing for May 18 -May 25: JPN 436/536; CHN 303 ; and ITN 103
