The Yamada Language Center has four ongoing objectives for this academic year.
- diversifying our staff
- improving language opportunities for students and the community to study indigenous languages
- seeking federal grants for teacher training in less commonly taught languages
- increasing our community outreach efforts especially where we can provide language services or organizational capacity
