- A Basic Dictionary
of ASL Terms - A collection of hundreds of basic signs including
the alphabet and numbers 1-10. Animated (Quicktime) and text
definitions for each entry. Very cool!
- ASL
Browser - This is an *excellent* site for nearly any word you would
want to know in ASL. It has an extensive database of Quicktime movie
clips that show you how to form the word, as well as a written description
of each action.

Manual Alphabet - A quick reference sheet to the manual alphabet,
used by deaf-blind people.
- ASL Fingerspelling -
This contains a number of tools for novices and experts alike, including
a complete ASL alphabet and a fingerspelling converter, which changes
text into ASL fingerspelling.
- Medical
American Sign Language Phrasebook - This article contains very good
information on the fundamentals of ASL and is a good place to get started
if your interested in the language.
- The Deafblind Manual
Alphabet Page - This site shows the complete manual alphabet, which
is signed into someone else's hand, as well as descriptions for many
techniques for deaf-blind people related to ASL.
- Handspeak: A Sign Language Dictionary
Online - HandSpeak is the largest, fast-growing popular visual language
dictionary online. This contains a large database of animated pictures
that show how to form words. It also contains references to many other
types of sign languages.
- American Sign Language University
- A course to learn ASL, complete with textbook and CD supplementation.
It also has a collection of non-offensive deaf jokes and deaf humor,
and a collection of links.
- Signwriting.org - Read, write,
