1. Open Audacity, then click on Audacity on the toolbar and click on Preferences...

2. Select Devices:

• If you want to record using a headset, set Recording Device to Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 or Platonic Headset. (Note: The name of devices will vary if you are using computers outside of PAC113.)

• If you want to use the internal microphone, set Recording Device to Built-in Microphone.

 

3. Click on the recording button [] to start recording.  Once you're done, press stop:
