NILI’s summer institute offers 3 weeks of classes in NW languages, linguistics and teaching strategies to Native American language teachers, program directors and Native language learners throughout the Northwest. The institute is also an opportunity for teachers to share ideas, materials, and methods.

b. Language teaching with 'Talking Cards'
c. Early literacy learning in preschool children

Technology
Practical use of the computer to make what you want and need

Special workshops:

Tuition:

$1,250 for 8 UO credit hours (includes $75 computer lab fee)
*Some scholarship funding is possible.

University Housing Information:
Single room plus meals: $48.00 per day
Double room plus meals: $38.00 per day

Dinner $7.75
Full Meal Ticket: $18.75
