Petrarch

OPOB

The Oregon Petrarch Open Book (OPOB) was released in November 2011. This multilingual website, devoted to Francis Petrarch's 14th century classic, the Canzoniere, permits students and scholars to study the text and related works in new and interesting ways.

A video introduction to the new site is available at http://petrarch.uoregon.edu/video-introduction

The local project team consisted of Principal Investigator, Prof. Massimo Lollini of the Department of Romance Languages, and staff at the Knight Library and the Yamada Language Center. Travis Shea of UO Information Services did the programming and design of the website. The OPOB was funded by an NEH Digital Humanities Startup Grant.
