FLIS Day

UO's 34th Annual Foreign Language and International Studies Day

FLIS Day is Oregon's largest foreign language and culture event. FLIS presenters come from more than 40 different countries including professors from Languages, Linguistics, and International Studies; faculty and GTFs from UO's 20 different language programs; and staff and students from International Affairs, particularly the International Cultural Service Program. Are you a language student, faculty member or GTF interested in presenting at FLIS? Sign up to present here.

Students
have many chances throughout the day to use their foreign language skills as well as acquire new ones. This year we have more languages, countries, and cultures represented than ever before. Are you a university student or community member who would like to get involved with Foreign Language Day, May 4th, 2012? Volunteer for this year's FLIS day! There will be an informal volunteer training session during the week before Foreign Language & International Studies Day, and a free t-shirt for those who volunteer for two hours or more.
