cultures not established or sponsored by any major department.
Whether you are a layman in foreign languages, a beginning or advanced

The theme for next issue will be "Myth and Mythology".
This includes stories for kids and adults, history, or songs. Entries should cover a variety of ideas such as mythology, stories, legends, songs, poetry, or even current movies relating to mythology. Hopefully you can provide an English translation.
For the vocabulary, you will have special words in your stories that you can use as vocabulary. These words should be bolded or underlined. One idea might be to include etymology- the origin of the words-certain expressions, characters or expressions from stories and legends of mythology.
Talk with your editors about what story you will be doing, and try to focus on one or two stories for the issue.
DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MAY 30th. IF YOU DO NOT WRITE BY THIS DATE, YOU WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED.
Editors deadline in June 2nd, Monday.
*How about contributing to Recipe of the Month?
We're also looking for a new Web Master, as our current one will be graduating at the end of the term.
If you have any questions about this position, an upcoming issue, or Global Talk participation in general, please direct them to our President, Jared Peacock at jpeacock@uoregon.edu.
