I will talk about Kenya as a country with its different cultural aspects such as tribe, culture, food and politics as well as the rise of Africa's media: music, influences and economic development.

Somewhere in mid-20th century Quito lives "La Torera" (female bullfighter), an eccentric lady who is often seen walking the streets of Ecuador's capital. In this presentation, you will hear La Torera's story as she tells it herself, and will also get a chance to experience some of the traditional children's games La Torera and an the people of her generation enjoyed: you will learn about "macateta," "rayuela," "canicas," "trompos," "coches de madera" and will get to make a corn husk doll.
