Traditional Dances of Tanzania

Presenters will show a few of the many dances. And participants will dance too. There are over 120 tribes and languages in Tanzania. Each ethnic group identify with a unique traditional dance in events such as Independence day, Union day, Inauguration day, Campaign day, funeral day, Wedding day and many more. Come one, come all and have some fun!

Kundalini Yoga

Come and learn basic Kundalini Yoga techniques including asanas (postures), pranayams (breathing exercises) and mantras to relax and rejuvenate. Languages of Oregon

Learn more about the Native American languages spoken in your state. The part of the world that is now Oregon has a great diversity of Native American languages and dialects; in present-day Oregon at the time European Americans first arrived, it is estimated that 18-25 languages were spoken, and many of these languages had multiple dialects. We will explore these languages, looking at sound systems and pronunciation, how words and sentences are formed, and revitalization and teaching programs across the state.
