Wushu in Chinese literally means "martial art." Charactarized by it's highly acrobatic movements, wushu is practiced by Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Contemporary wushu is seen in many of today's action films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Forbidden Kingdom. We will perform and then teach some basic movements.

Dance Africa has dedicated itself to celebrating the rich traditions of African dance, music and culture in and around the area of Eugene, Oregon.
