How to setup an Email account for iPad

1). Go to Settings
2). Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account… under Account
3). Select Other and select Add Mail Account
4). Set up an account:

A). For the following Email accounts: @me.com, @company.com, @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @aol.com, @hotmail.com    

1). Enter Name
2). Enter Email
3). Enter Password
4). Enter description of your account (i.e...Google Account)

B). For University of Oregon E-mail

1). Select Other
2). Select Add Mail Account
3). Enter Name
4). Enter Email (in this case yourduckid@uoregon.edu)
5). Enter Password
6). Enter description of your account (i.e...Uoregon Email Account)
7). Select Next button on right-hand corner

8). Select IMAP
9). Enter Name, Email and Description of not entered already
10). Under Incoming Mail Server’s Host Name, Enter “imap.uoregon.edu”
11). Enter username (enter your Duck ID)
12). Enter password (ones used for your Duck ID)
13). Under Outgoing Mail Server’s Host Name, Enter “smtp.uoregon.edu”
14). Enter the same username and password that you’ve previously entered for Incoming Mail Server section (Even though it says optional, you MUST do this in order to be able to send an Email)
15). Select Next button on right-hand corner

5). Link your Email to listed applications and select Save

*Your Email preferences can be edited from Setting ---> Mail, Contacts, Calendars
