Welcome the Yamada Language Center's Foreign Language Exchange site!
The Yamada Foreign Language Exchange database is set up to allow students to
contact each other, to mentor, learn, and practice foreign languages.
To use the Language Exchange:
- Create an account. You will need to tell us your name and University of Oregon (uoregon.edu) email address. Register Now!
- Retrieve your password from your University of Oregon email account.
- Log in and complete your profile.
(Note that you can use an alternate email address for your profile. Your UO address is only necessary for creating an account and retrieving forgotten passwords.)
- Once you have completed your profile, you will be able to search for an exchange partner. Other participants will be able to contact you by email.
To remove yourself from the Language Exchange...
- Simply log in to your account, and click the link "My Account" toward the top of the page.
- Look for the button at the bottom of the page "Delete My Account."
- You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete your account, and if you choose yes, this will completely delete your account and all of your profile information from our system.
