Most residents in Canada who live in their own house or apartment own a washer and a dryer. Rental apartment buildings have washers and dryers in the basement. There are public laundromats in downtown areas of cities but not necessarily in the suburbs. Dry cleaners do clothes for affordable prices and offer home pick-up and delivery.
